About The Library

College Bangana Library is a part of the institution since its inception in 2007.
Library has a rich collection of books on various branches of knowledge.
About 10400 books are housed in the Library.
08 (02 English & 06 Hindi) daily newspapers are subscribed.
06 journals and 10 periodicals are also subscribed to the college library.

SOUL Software

SOUL 3.0 Software has been installed in the library. The database of 7,000 plus books has been created and in near future the database of all the collection would be created.

RFID facility is also functional in college Library.

Library Committee

There is a library committee that deals with all problems and issues of the library. It also approves the budget. The library has good infrastructure with all facilities to serve the students.

Rules of the Library

No Student is allowed to enter the library without Identity Card.

Two books are issued at a time for a period of fourteen days but the librarian has a right to recall the books.

A fine of Rs.1/- per book per day will be charged beyond the due date.

Books are also issued from Book Bank to SC/ST/Low income group or other needy student on the recommendation of the Teacher/ Principal.

Reference books are not issued. They can be consulted in the library after obtaining permission from the librarian.

In case of loss of a book one has to replace the book or pay fine in addition to the present price of the book with special permission of the Principal.
