4) Dr. Ambedkar Post Matric Scholarship for Economically Backward Students:
Under this Scheme, all students belonging to General Category (Other than Schedule Caste, Schedule Tribe and Other Backward Classes) whose total income from all sources in case of the employed candidate and in case of unemployed candidate, his/her parents/guardians income shall not exceed Rs 1,00,000/-, p.a. are eligible for full scholarship (i.e. Maintenance Allowance + Compulsory Fee i.e. Enrolment/Registration Fee, Tuition Fee, Games Fee, Union Fee, Library Fee, Magazine Fee, Medical Fee, Examination Fee and such other Fees) for all courses, provided they are pursuing their studies in Government Institutions. 6) Post Matric Scholarship Scheme to students belonging to Minority Students:
This Scholarship will be given from XI to Ph.D. Level in Govt. / Recognized Private Schools / Colleges / Institutes, including Technical / Vocational Courses, to the students belonging to the Minority Groups (Muslim – 309, Sikh – 187, Christian – 20, Budhhist – 196,Jain – 4,Parsi – 2, Total = 718 Students) . The annual income of the parent or guardian of the beneficiary should not exceed Rs 2.00 Lacs, from all sources and student should not have less than 50% marks in the previous final examination. Student must pass the examination from Govt. / Govt. Aided institutions. Students under this Scholarship Scheme, need to apply online at http://www.scholarships.gov.in , as per the following schedule, and no offline application form will be accepted.

Students under this Scholarship Scheme , need to apply online at http://www.scholarships.gov.in , as per the time schedule advertised from time to time through various newspapers of the state, and through the aforementioned Minority website , & HP ePASS website.
The printed copy of the Online Scholarship Form (after successful online submission of form), along with all requisite documents, needs to be submitted by the student to his / her Head of the Institute, who will further forward the same to this Directorate; where it will be retained for online verification & safekeeping.
In case, any offline application form is received by the Head of the Institute, he / she is directed to return the same to the concerned student, at his / her own level; & to direct the sender to fill the form online & submit the printed copy of the Online Application Form, afterwards, through the same channel.

8) Dr. Ambedkar Post Matric Scholarship For DNTs
This Scholarship Schemes is applicable for those Denotified, Nomadic and Semi-Nomadic Tribes, (DNTs) whose family income is less than Rs. 2.0 lacs per annum will be eligible for awarding the Post Matric Scholarship. The objective of the Scheme is to improve educational empowerment of the DNTs who are not covered under SC/ST/OBC category. The rates of the Scholarship are:

Group II (i) Professional Courses leading to Degree, Diploma, Certificate in areas like Pharmacy (B Pharma), Nursing(B Nursing), LLB, BFS, other para-medical branches like rehabilitation, diagnostics etc., Mass Communication, Hotel Management & Catering, Travel/Tourism/Hospitality Management, Interior Decoration, Nutrition & Dietetics, Commercial Art, Financial Services for which entrance qualification is minimum Sr. Secondary (10+2).
(ii) Post Graduate courses not covered under Group I eg. MA/M Sc/M.Com/M Ed./M. Pharma etc. 820. 530.
Group III. All other courses leading to a graduate degree not covered under Group I & II eg. BA/B Sc/B Com etc. 570. 300.
Group IV All post-matriculation level non-degree courses for which entrance qualification is High School (Class X), e.g.senior secondary certificate (class XI and XII); both general and vocational stream, ITI courses, 3 year diploma courses in Polytechnics, etc. 380. 230.

Colleges (within state) need to forward only the Verified Candidates List(s) (on the prescribed format) to this Directorate. The DDHE also need to forward the Verified Candidate List(s) in r/o their respective district(s) to this Directorate. The Govt. Colleges (within state) need to forward only the Verified Candidate List(s) (on the prescribed format) to this Directorate.

11) Mukhya Mantri Gyaandeep Yojna:
This is a new Mukhya Mantri Gyandeep Yojna sponsored by State Govt. for All Those Students who Bonafide of the HP State pursuing Professional/Technical course and Higher Education Course from recognized Institutions in India. Under this Scheme, Interest subsidy is admissible from any Bank on Education loan availed up to the Maximum of Rs. 10 (Ten lakh only) Interest subsidy to the extent of 4% p.a. on Education loan will be allowed.
Note:Student should apply through any bank directly.
